Who and when on Facebook?

Ever wondered how did Facebook develop? Surely you did. We all have watched The Social Network… But did you know that Mark Zuckerberg was not the first one on Facebook? In fact he was #4. By digging into the Facebook profile structure, by calling each profile by its id, starting from 0 and then counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… below goes few interesting facts revealed.

You are the person with profile #0. Yes you are. Just go there and type http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=0 – if you are logged into Facebook, it will redirect to your profile.

Profiles #1, #2, and #3 are currently taken down. What a mystery indeed. Let us not speculate, but either Mark or somebody else did something about those first three profiles. Few more were found missing: #8, #9, #12, #14…#25. Were they real or fake? You can post your guesses in comments below.

Then among few first dozens we have lots of guys who worked on the site. The first woman in fact came as #33. There were only six girls found among the first 50 profiles, but then all the beauties catch up with guys. You can see the first here.

It would be nice to interview all these people and to find out the social network stories.
